In the new year, Dark Horse will release an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla comic called Forgotten Myths – release on March 16.
It is reported that the comic will be a prequel to the Dawn of Ragnarök game add-on , which will be released on March 10, 2022. It will also be a kind of sequel to the Song of Glory book – it told the story before the events of the main game.
In the Forgotten Myths storyline, Thor, Balder and Heimdall again notice that something is wrong on the borders of Asgard. The land of the Ases is threatened by a powerful fire giant from Muspelheim. After Balder discovers that the Muspels are gathering at the gates of Svartalfheim, he sets out on a journey to establish peace and order in the kingdom.
Forgotten Myths was created by Alexander Fried (Dragon Age: The Silent Grove) and the artist is Martin Tunica (Song of Glory). Also contributing to the comic were Michael Atier (Halo: Escalation), Jimmy Betancourt (Hyper Scape) and Rafael Sarmento (Stanger Things: Tomb of Ybwen) – the latter created the cover.
Recall that in the Dawn of Ragnarök add-on, players will travel to the kingdom of Svartalfheim, where they will experience the exploits of the Scandinavian gods.
