Portal VideoCardz shared image of the future ASUS motherboards series of TUF, Prime and ROG Strix chipset Intel H670 and B660. Earlier on the Web there were rumors that Intel may refuse to release the H670 chipset, but this leak actually refutes them.
It should be noted that the Intel H670 chipset in the manufacturer’s hierarchy is more advanced than the B660. Consequently, motherboards based on it should have richer equipment. However, when you look at the images of ASUS motherboards, you can’t tell right away. For example, the Prime H670-PLUS D4 model looks much poorer than the rest of the noted boards.
Almost all models of motherboards that have been lit up are designed to work with DDR4 RAM. Only the ROG Strix B660-F Gaming Wi-Fi model on a junior chipset stands out, which has support for the new DDR5 standard.
Intel’s H670, B660 and H610 chipsets, as well as the first motherboards based on them, are expected to be announced at the CES 2022 electronics show next month.
