Yesterday, the Internet spread the news that Bluepoint Games, together with Nixxes Software, is preparing a remaster of Bloodborne for PS5 and PC with 60 FPS, native 4K and ray tracing. Unfortunately, the good news for FromSoftware fans turned out to be just a fake.
The clone account of the well-known insider Nibel served as the source – the troll replaced “i” with “I” in the account name, which some bloggers and media, inspired by the news, did not notice. However, rumors about a remaster have previously come from various reputable insiders .
Later, Nibel himself came into the comments and ironically remarked that it would be better for this news to be true, to which his false namesake replied: “This is the truth. ”
Meanwhile, another well-known blogger in the person of ElAnalistaDeBits released a video last week where he showed a hypothetical remaster of Bloodborne – with the same 60 FPS and 4K, but without tracing. AI and third-party hardware were used to create the demo, which made it possible to simulate high resolution and double the frame rate.
As a reminder, Bloodborne is still a PS4 exclusive and, unfortunately, runs on PS5 at 30 FPS.
