Darkest Dungeon 2 Will Leave Early Access In February 2023

The creators of Darkest Dungeon 2 Studio Red Hook have announced that the game will be leaving Early Access in February 2023.

At the same time, the developers are planning to release the project on Steam . It is reported that the game will appear on consoles a little later.

The authors also updated the roadmap, noting that the amount of content will remain the same, but will be added “as needed” for “maximum impact on the quality of the game.”

Upcoming updates will include improved artifacts, a new progression system, new heroes and bosses, a new path, a changed partner relationship system, pets, and much more.

In addition, instead of creating a new region, developers will focus on working with existing regions, expanding their environment. The character team will take care of the mini-bosses that will appear anytime, anywhere.

Recall that Darkest Dungeon 2 went into early access last October only on the Epic Games Store .
