One of the network insiders reports that the official release of the Google Pixel 6a smartphone will take place on May 11 or 12. At the same time, sales of new items will start only at the end of July due to the ongoing shortage of microcircuits.
According to preliminary data, the Pixel 6a will receive a proprietary Tensor GS101 single-chip system, which is used in the flagship Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, an 8 MP front camera (IMX355 sensor), as well as a dual rear camera with 12.2 MP modules (IMX363) and 12 MP (IMX386). As for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, they are credited with the second-generation Tensor processor and the Samsung Exynos 5300 cellular modem. Their release is expected in October this year.
