Google Stops Licensing Android Devices In Russia

In the near future, Google may ban the sale of Android-smartphones in Russia.

The American corporation Google is gradually closing the projects of Russian companies . Such a decision may lead to the fact that they will not be able to release Android smartphones with Google services for the Russian market, writes Mobile review.

The United States Export Law prohibits the provision of services to Russia, and the export, re-export, or transfer of US-origin software and technology to Russia ,” Google said in a statement.

According to the source, the licensing of smartphones has already stopped for some Russian companies: if this is not a mistake, then in the near future Google will impose a ban on the sale of Android smartphones on the Russian market for all manufacturers.
