HBO Max Is Making A Series Based On The Comic Book
HBO Max has begun work on a series based on the graphic novel You Brought Me the Ocean (“You brought me the ocean”). She talks about one of the versions of the origin of the superhero Aqualad.
We are familiar with Aqualad Garth, this line of comics debuted in 1960.
Garth has appeared in the Titans series. And now we are waiting for a meeting with another version of Aqualad: a black teenager Jake Hyde, who lives in the very center of the continent, but feels an incredible attraction to the ocean and other guys.
Entering college, he gets into the school swim team and falls in love with its captain Kenny. At the same time, he begins to feel the awakening of his superpowers: it turns out that some blue marks appear on his skin when in contact with water.
So far, there is no information about who will be entrusted with the script and production of the series with hour-long episodes. But Charlize Theron has already appeared on the list of executive producers.
