The once-exclusive PlayStation Horizon Zero Dawn now boasts a VR mode. The game can be played with a third-person view or turned into a “shooter” with a first-person view
Developer Luke Ross previously worked on VR modes for the Mafia remake and Cyberpunk 2077 . Now introduced a VR mod for Horizon Zero Dawn.
The mod offers two modes of playing Horizon Zero Dawn in a VR headset controlled by a gamepad: with the familiar third-person view from the original version and an “experimental” first-person view.
The modification does not work perfectly, for example, the interface flickers; when shooting from a bow in the first person, the model may briefly get into the frame, and when playing from a third person, objects sometimes obstruct the view.
