Today it became known that Oppo is working on a new smartphone Oppo Reno 8. The phone will have a 6.55-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. One of the upgrades for the 8 Series is a 120Hz refresh rate, up from 90Hz.
The triple camera setup on the back will feature the 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor already used in the Reno 7 Pro and several other Oppo devices. The 7 Pro used a dedicated Dimensity 1200-Max chipset, it will be interesting to see what the company has in store for us this time around.
Unfortunately, chipset details for Oppo Reno 8 are not yet available. The Reno 6 generation was first launched in May, so the new series could arrive next month.
