Disney has released a trailer for another remake of its classic, this time Pinocchio .
The original story of a wooden boy who wanted to be real was reimagined by director Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future), and Tom Hanks played the role of Master Geppetto . Pinocchio himself was embodied on the screen by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (“The Haunting of Bly Manor”).
Cricket Jiminy Cricket was voiced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer) and the fairy was played by Cynthia Erivo (TV series The Outsider). The premiere of the tape is scheduled for September 8, and it will immediately be released in the Disney + online cinema.
