The Chinese company Xiaomi announced the Redmi K40S smartphone running the Android 12 operating system with a proprietary add-on MIUI 13. The device is already available for pre-order.
At the back is a three-camera system. This is a 48-megapixel main unit with a Sony IMX582 sensor and optical stabilization, an 8-megapixel module with wide-angle optics (119 degrees) and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The equipment includes a side fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.1 adapters, two speakers, an infrared port, a USB Type-C connector. Power is provided by a 4500 mAh battery with support for 67-watt charging.
The Redmi K40S smartphone is priced between $280 and $380 depending on the memory size.
