In May 2021, the small Finnish studio Nighthouse Games released the hardcore 2D platform game Sockventure , its debut project, on PC. The game has received overwhelmingly positive reviews, and now the Versus Evil publishing house is preparing for its new release.
Sockventure is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 14th. Reception of pre-orders has not yet started, but the price is already known: those wishing to go on difficult tests will have to pay 1,799 rubles for this .
The protagonist of Sockventure is an ordinary guy whose favorite sock was gobbled up by a damned washing machine. To save his faithful friend, the guy goes into the depths of the evil unit. There he is waiting for more than 200 hand-crafted levels, divided into seven story chapters.
Players will be able to learn and use four special skills, and as equipment it will be possible to use other washed socks rescued from the wilds. In each chapter, we are waiting for a lot of difficult challenges, and in the “dark chapters” are collected even more hardcore versions of some levels.
