Xseed Games has announced that PlayStation 4 owners will be able to experience the peaceful simulation Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town this summer. The game is released in the West, including in the boxed version.
Details of the new western release are promised to be announced later. But in Japan, the PlayStation 4 version comes out on July 28 and will include downloadable content that was released after the release on PC and Nintendo Switch. It is unknown if this also applies to the Western edition.
Pioneers of Olive Town, the new installment in the acclaimed Story of Seasons series , is out on PC and Switch in Fall 2021. On Steam , the game has collected very positive reviews: it is recommended by up to 86% of buyers. Players will have to inherit their grandfather’s farm and try to revive the city founded by him and his friends.
