Elon Musk announced the production date of the highly anticipated Cybertruck , Semi and Roadster models at the Cyber ​​Rodeo event held by Tesla . Musk stated that this year is all about growth and that new products will appear next year.

Tesla organized an event called Cyber ​​Rodeo for the opening of its new factory near Austin. The first cars produced at the Austin factory, which belongs to Tesla, were shown at the event. The most striking situation was the vehicle bearing the name Model Y SUV and newly released from the production line.

Approximately 15,000 people were invited to the Cyber ​​Rodeo event held for the opening of the Austin factory. “Our Austin factory is almost the size of three Pentagon buildings,” Musk said, trying to express the size of the factory.

Production will start in 2023

Tesla chief designer Franz von Holzhausen was another person present at the event and showed off the Cybertruck prototype. An endurance test has not been performed for the Cybertruck. However, it has been certain that it will have a similar structure to the design images that were leaked a while ago.

Cybertruck will be a four-door electric pickup truck. Named the Roadster, the model was described as a two-door electric coupe. It was scheduled to be released in 2020, but there have been delays. It has been announced that the new model Roadster will be on the market in 2023.

The electric heavy truck, named Tesla Semi, was first introduced in 2017 and was scheduled to be launched in 2020. However, mass production could not be started for Semi. It is stated that together with the Austin factory, Semi will be on the production line in 2023.
