LG Electronics today unveiled its first gaming laptop, the 17G90Q in its premium UltraGear line.
As noted by the manufacturer, this powerful and productive laptop with a sleek design inherent in the LG Gram line, already won the CES 2022 innovation award.
It is based on an 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake H processor (Core i7-11800H), Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics, up to 32 GB of dual-channel RAM and two SSDs up to 1 TB. The 17-inch IPS panel has a 1ms response time and a 300Hz refresh rate.
The aluminum laptop is 21.4 millimeters thick and weighs almost 2.7 kg. The battery has a capacity of 93 Wh.
LG UltraGear Studio software allows you to customize gaming options and monitor real-time performance data, including CPU clock speed, TDP and GPU clock speed and memory data rate. Users can assign color to each key of laptop RGB keyboard.
The LG gaming laptop will be available in the US and South Korea in the first quarter of 2022, followed by other markets thereafter. Pricing has not yet been announced.
