Intel prepares processors Core i9-12900KS with a clock speed of 5.2 GHz

Intel prepares processors Core i9-12900KS with a clock speed of 5.2 GHz

Intel is preparing a response to AMD’s 3D V-cache, according to the latest report. Intel may release a pre-overclocked Core i9-12900KS processor with a preset clock speed of 5.2 GHz.

This estimated clock speed will take the processor to fantastic heights and boost the overall performance of a regular Core i9-12900K processor. With the advent of AMD Ryzen processors with 3D-V Cache, Intel has prepared this solution to deal with the growing pressure from AMD.

This dedicated Alder Lake processor is set to arrive around the same time AMD is unveiling its Ryzen processors with 3D V-cache support, so Intel is not letting AMD steal the performance crown.
