NVIDIA has announced the GeForce RTX 3090Ti, an improved older model of the current generation adapter. The presentation took place at CES 2022.
The RTX 3090Ti received a GA102 GPU with 10,752 CUDA cores, 336 tensor cores, and 24 GB of GDDR6X memory. At the same time, the throughput is higher than that of the previous model, by about 7.7% and amounts to 1 TB / s. Peak theoretical performance – 40 TFLOPS. The declared power consumption is 450 watts. According to the president of the company Jeff Fisher, the novelty can be described as a “monster video card”. At the same time, the company did not provide the full specifications of the device, nor did it announce the recommended price and release date.
Earlier at CES 2022, Radeon presented the budget video adapter Radeon RX 6500 XT. According to the manufacturer, it will be able to run games at “high” settings at 1080p.
