In February 2022, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S22 line of top-end smartphones. However, the “fan” version of the Galaxy S22 FE will be released later. Some information about the “light” flagship has already appeared on the Web.
In particular, the Notebookcheck web publication reported that the Galaxy S22 FE model will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 single-chip system. According to experts, this is a fairly powerful chipset, which in many tests is not inferior to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and is ahead of the proprietary Exynos chip 2200.
If the resource information is confirmed, the future “light” flagship may be more productive than its older brothers: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, the manufacturer will use cheaper case material and a simplified camera system.
The Galaxy S22 FE is also reported to be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery and will start at $600.
