Roskomnadzor requires the administration of YouTube video hosting to remove restrictions from one of the videos on the channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as explain the reasons for their introduction. The video is titled “Meeting of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.” This was written in the department’s Telegram channel.
Roskomnadzor demanded that the YouTube video hosting administration immediately remove all restrictions imposed on the video “ Meeting of the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine ” on the official account of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and also explain the reasons for their introduction.
In Roskomnadzor, such actions of video hosting are called an act of censorship: “The actions of the YouTube administration violate the key principles of the free distribution of information and unhindered access to it and are an act of censorship directed against everything Russian. The agency considers any restrictions in relation to the Russian media, socially significant resources and political figures, and even more so the state body of the Russian Federation, to be unacceptable .
