Marvel Cinematic Universe star Scarlett Johansson will take part in the studio’s new and so far secret project, not related to the history of Black Widow. Such an announcement was made by the head of the company Kevin Feige at the ceremony of presenting the actress with the American Cinematheque award.
Feige also stressed that Johansson will be the producer of this promising film project. “Scarlett has been giving her talent and creativity to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for ten years. I am extremely grateful to her for playing a key role in this process for so many years. Working with her has truly been one of the most memorable and rewarding experiences of my career, ”said Feige.
Recall that shortly after the release of the film ” Black Widow “, the actress filed a lawsuit against Disney. In it, she argued that the company had violated the terms of her contract by releasing the film at the same time on Disney + and thus depriving it of additional profit. In turn, Walt Disney Co. initially disagreed with these claims, which sparked a public war of words with the actress and her representatives, but ultimately the company agreed to pre-trial compensation payments, which were estimated at $ 40 million.
