Krasnoyarsk universities reportedly received letters from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science with a recommendation to move their YouTube videos to Russian platforms by April 4.
The Pedagogical University received a similar letter from the Ministry of Education. As alternatives to YouTube, VKontakte and Rutube are recommended.
Netizens again suggest that Roskomnadzor may begin blocking YouTube in Russia soon. Previously, access to the Google News aggregator was restricted, and Facebook , Twitter and Instagram were also blocked .
