Wargaming will finally transfer the Russian and Belarusian business to Lesta Studio in the near future, dev.by reports citing representatives of Wargaming.
Recall that in early April, Wargaming announced that it was leaving Russia and Belarus. Lesta Studio has been responsible for doing business since March 31st. At the time, Wargaming representatives said they would complete the business transfer process “with due speed,” without violating laws and making sure their employees were safe.
“As the company previously reported, Wargaming and the management of Lesta Studio are working on the transfer of the business complex to Wargaming in Russia and Belarus, including shares in Lesta LLC. Registration, transfer and reflection of changes in ownership takes some time.
We intend to complete the transfer of shares to Lesta Studio management in the coming weeks. At the same time, from March 31, 2022, all decisions related to business in Russia and Belarus are made by the management of Lesta Studio. Wargaming does not receive money from the Russian and Belarusian markets.”
It was also previously reported that during the transition, support services will be available in Russia and Belarus, they will be handled by new owners.
